DFT Inc. Headed to Eastern Gas Compression Roundtable (EGCR)

DFT Inc. is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at the 2013 Eastern Gas Compression Roundtable (EGCR). The EGCR event runs May 14th through May 16th at their Annual Conference to be held at Robert Morris University in Moon Township, PA.

We are excited to be part of this forum that is focused on providing the Natural Gas Industry with training programs. As in past years, this annual training and technology conference will provide training on engine and compressor maintenance. The goal of the EGCR is to provide “comprehensive training and education programs to meet the needs of industry groups closely involved with Compressor Stations and other associated areas.”

At the conference, DFT will be showcasing our PDC® Flanged Check Valves for reciprocating compressors. In addition, we’ll also have our GLC® Flanged Check Valves and Excalibur® Flanged Check Valves for non-reciprocating compressors at the show.

DFT Inc.’s PDC® Flanged Check Valve is designed for use on the discharge side of reciprocating air or gas compressors. It includes a pulse damping chamber to maintain the disc in the open position during the momentary reductions in flow associated with each cycle of a reciprocating compressor and to protect against premature seat wear. The PDC meets both API 6D and ASME B 16.10 specifications.

The GLC® flanged check valve is a nozzle style, axial flow, short pattern check valve that provides reliable, low maintenance service for a wide range of fluids and pressure/temperature combinations. The short pattern body provides both cost and weight savings.

And our Excalibur® Check Valve is also a nozzle style, axial flow check that is built to ASME B 16.10 face to face dimensions so it is a direct replacement for swing type check valves.

Be sure to come by our Booth #5 and we’ll tell you more about our valves and answer any questions that you may have. See you there!
